We collect the following information to provide and improve the App:

Timezone	Accurate daily log boundaries
Device info and app version	Bug fixing and compatibility

2. How We Use Your Data

Provide workout and nutrition tracking features
Power AI nutrition coaching (text and photo analysis)
Calculate personal progress and insights
Process subscription payments (via Apple/Google)
Send transactional emails (OTP codes, account actions)
Improve the App's features and fix bugs

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use HTTPS for all data transmission, JWT-based authentication, and encrypted password storage. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

Active account: Data is retained as long as your account is active.
Deleted account: After you delete your account, data is permanently removed within 30 days (grace period for account recovery).
Food photos: Processed for AI analysis and not stored long-term on our servers.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data (visible in the App)
Delete your account and all associated data (Profile → Delete Account)
Export your workout data (share feature in the App)
Opt out of AI features (simply don't use the nutrition chat)

7. Children's Privacy

SpotMe is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us to have it removed.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
